If you want a golden rule that will fit everything, this is it: Have nothing in your houses that you do not know to be useful or believe to be beautiful.

My name is Noah Kershisnik. I design and make all BRLC products in my studio in Provo Utah. I take inspiration from classic work wear, natural materials, the mountains, the desert, the ocean, and the way people interact with their environments.

When I was a kid I'd shake every christmas present hoping to hear the soft, clear sound of lego bricks tumbling against each other in the box. Following the instructions to build a police station or a spaceship or a pharaoh's tomb was the first thrill, but it was nothing compared to taking those same bricks apart and rebuilding something new. Those bricks were raw materials with which I could build my own world, take it apart and build it again. The story was part of it; built into the houses and stores and streets of the lego landscape.

I'm still building stories, I've just changed my materials.
